Erica and Ella made it to school today. Erica is riding the bus to school and Ella is going to day care prior to school. Both girls had a great day. A few pictures from today.
Summer is just about over and the girls are getting excited about starting school on Tuesday. Jill bought the girls there school cloths and supplies, so they are ready to go. This afternoon Ella was able to check out the 3rd grade class list that were posted on the front doors of the school. Looks like there are 4 3rd grade rooms with 23 students in each room. We decided to take Erica from a Jr High school (6-8) with 1200 plus students to a new Christian school with only 100 (7-8) students. Erica was struggling last year in school. She had a tutor over the summer which has really helped her catch up. We hope the new school will be a positive change for her. We met a lady that works at the local Safeway store that adopted a girl 8 years ago from Ukraine who will be in Erica's 7th grade class. Hard to believe summer is coming to a end...
